The Mira Costa girls golf team defeated Peninsula High School on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 175-242 on the road at Palos Verdes Country Club. The Mustangs are currently 9-0 in Bay League.
Freshmen Andrea Lee and Marni Murez shot 34 and 35, respectively, and seniors Kari and Raquel Gordon each shot 35. Junior Megan Kim shot 36.
“I’m positive we beat the school record today. I am really proud of the girls and everyone is doing great,” said Coach Tim Kelley. “Unfortunately we are kinda flying under the radar.”
The Mustangs will be competing in the Knave tournament at Lakewood Golf Course Oct. 10.
