The Mira Costa varsity girls golf team defeated Peninsula High School on Thursday, Oct. 11, 185 shots to 225 at home at Chester Golf Course. The Mustangs overall record is currently 10-0.
Juniors Mika Pascual and Megan Kim shot a 38 and 36, respectively. Freshman Marni Murez shot 38 and seniors Kari and Raquel Gordon both shot a 36.
“We are happy because we are now bay league champions three years in a row,” Kim said.
The Mustangs next match will be the Bay and Ocean finals on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at the Lakewood Golf Course.
