Mira Costa junior varsity was defeated by Palos Verdes High School on Oct.11, 21-0, leaving the team with a record as 0-2 in Bay League and 3-4 overall.
Tre’ Searcy stood out with 121 yards and also Dane Largent stood out as well with 9 tackles and an interception. Another player that stood out was Glen Mitchell with an interception.
“I felt that we could have done a lot better in the game,” said sophomore player Tre’ Searcy.
The team’s next game will be against Peninsula at 3:15 p.m. on Thurs. Oct.18.
