Ever since the release of his first album, My World 2.0, pop-sensation Justin Bieber has had to prove to the world that he is more than just good looks. His most recent show at the Staples Center on October 3 proved just that and more.
From the moment Justin emerged on the stage in massive butterfly wings until his final song, Justin demonstrated his vocal abilities while shining through his dance moves, and left the 20,000 audience members wanting more.
Justin Bieber is one of the most well-known artists in the world. Ever since he posted his first video on Youtube when he was 12 years old, his success has grown rapidly. He has more than 28 million followers on twitter, he is the most searched person on the internet and is worth $112 million. When tickets went on sale for the tour to promote his new album, Believe, they sold out in less than ten minutes.
The show started off with an up-beat performance of the track “All Around the World”. Although Justin was clearly lip-singing, he made up for it with his mesmerizing dance moves. The performance had an out of earth feel to it, and it was apparent that a lot of hard work went into it.
As the night was just getting started, you could feel the energy radiating all around the room .Fans were crying, signs were held up, voices were being strained from screaming too loud, and everyone was on their feet.
The stage was set up to look like a spaceship, and the out- of- this world performances were the perfect complement. After Justin proved his dancing abilities and performance skills with a few up-beat songs, he proved his vocal talent when he sang “Love Me Like you do” a capella. He proved that not only could he hit every note and sing perfectly in tune, but do it beautifully and with enough emotion to make any girl melt on the spot.
During the show, videos were used as a way to interact with the audience. Many clips were played during breaks, such as videos of Justin playing the drums when he was little, as well as videos of him performing for fans during various occasions. The most inspiring video clip was the one in which Justin told his fans to never stop believing and to always go after their dreams, whatever they may be.
Not only did Justin put up an amazing performance and sing all his best songs, but he constantly interacted with the audience, which proved the reason for his huge fan-base. He talked to some of his fans , threw two of his jackets to the crowd, and brought one lucky fan on stage as he sang “One Less Lonely Girl”.
Justin ended the show with his hit song “Baby”, which was his first hit single, and reminded the audience why they fell in love with him in the first place.
Overall, the concert was a great mix of up-beat and a capella performances that left everyone believing.
