On Oct. 10, the top four Mira Costa girls golfers won the Knave Tournament at the Lakewood golf course with 297 shots. The Mustangs are currently 9-0 with two tournament wins.
Freshman Andrea Lee shot 73, seniors Kari and Raquel Gordon shot 72 and 81, respectively, and junior Megan Kim shot 71.
“We are so happy,” Kim said. “This win gives us a ton of confidence to put ourselves on the same level as state championship teams.”
The Mustangs’ next match is Oct. 11 home against Peninsula High School at Chester Golf Course.
