The Mira Costa girls junior varsity volleyball team ended its season with a win against rival Redondo on Tuesday, October 30. The girls won two sets to one winning the first set 27-25 and winning the second set 25-14.
Sophmore Erin Sagisi had a total of 6 kills and 4 blocks. Along with her teammate Sam Schnyder who had a total of 4 kills, 1 block, 1 dig, and 2 aces, the two girls contributed to their team total of 28 kills, 8 blocks, 12 digs, and 4 aces.
“We went from them crushing us to us crushing them. It was probably one of the best games we’ve ever played. Everyone played their hearts out” said Sophomore Erin Sagisi.
The girls ended their season 1st place in League only losing 2 games throughout their entire season.
