The Mira Costa boys water polo team hosted Peninsula High School on Tuesday Oct. 30 and won, 13-5.
Costa won first place in Bay League and are ranked 2nd overall in Division III.
Senior Jimmy Bissell made one goal and had two assists and senior Cody Kelley scored three goals and had two assists.
“This game was essential for us to win because this game and the one on Thursday against Redondo because it decides our place in Bay League,” Bissell said.
The next boys water polo game will be against Redondo on Thursday at 3
at Mira Costa.
