The Mira Costa varsity girls golf team competed in the CIF individual match on Thursday, Nov. 1 at River Ridge Golf Course.
Junior Megan Kim and Freshman Andrea Lee were both supposed to compete, however Lee was unable due to injury.
Kim shot 80, qualifying her to continue onto the next level in CIF.
“It feels good,” Kim said. “I’m just taking it one round at a time and trying to stay relaxed and positive.”
Kim will compete on Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Women’s Southern California Golf Association southern regionals, the last level before state.
