Mira Costa varsity girls golf team member, junior Megan Kim, competed at CIF state qualifiers at the Southern California Golf Association golf course in Murrieta on Thursday, Nov. 8. However, Kim did not qualify for the next round, ending the 2012 Mustang girls golf season.
Kim shot 78, which was not low enough to place with the top nine scores to qualify for state.
“Megan has pulled two strong years of golf,” coach Tim Kelley. “She played well but it is an incredibly difficult level.”
