The Mira Costa boys varsity basketball team faced off against Banning High School at home during the Mira Costa Pacific Shores tournament on Monday Nov. 26, and won 76-59.
Seniors Kevin Kim and Cole Feaster scored 14 and 18 points, respectively. Junio Justin Strings scored 11 points.
“We played pretty well for our first game,” said head coach Jeff Amaral. “We had good support from the fans and a lot of energy.”
The Mustangs will compete in the next stage of the tournament on Wednesday Nov. 28 against Culver City High School.
