The Mira Costa boys soccer team played their first preseason game of the 2012-13 season on Tuesday Nov. 27, against Crespi High School. The low scoring game of 1-0 ended in a Mustang win.
Junior forward Sebastian Thomas scored the only goal of the game in the second half off of an assist from junior Brandon Tsuha.
“The goal was a great team effort,” Thomas said. “I got a through ball from Brandon Tsuha and I was able to finish it.”
The boys’ next game will be on Thursday Nov. 29 against Long Beach Cabrillo, away at 3:00 p.m.
“It was a close game but we came together as a team to win,” Thomas said. “It’s always great to start the season with a win.”
