The Mira Costa boys varsity basketball team played Culver City High School home in the Mira Costa Pacific shores tournament on Wednesday Nov. 28 and won, 87-64.
Seniors Kevin Kim, Ryan Kaseff and Oliver Mausnaer scored 16,11 and 16 points, respectively. Junior Justin Strings scored 22 points.
“We started a bit sloppy, but we never stopped playing,” Kaseff said. “It was hard to keep our composure at times, but we pulled through strong.
The Mustangs will compete in the next stage of the tournament today, against Brentwood High School.
