The Mira Costa girls varsity soccer team played against Santa Monica High School on Wednesday, Nov. 28 away. The Mustangs defeated Santa Monica 2-0.
Seniors Rachel Oster and Megan Carver each scored a goal to help contribute to the win. The defense held Santa Monica to shutout.
“For our second game this season, our defense and offense did a pretty good job of working together and passing the ball,” senior Kara Enomodo said. “Our club players are still not allowed to play in matches so it meant a lot that our team was able to win without them.”
The girl’s next game will be Wednesday Nov, 5 at 3 p.m. at Mira Costa against Chadwick High School.
