The Mira Costa boys varsity soccer team played an away game against South East High School on Thursday Dec. 6 and lost 2-0.
South East High School scored one goal in the first half, and another in the second half. The team tried to get on the scoreboard, but was unsuccessful. The game ended in regulation time and no cards were given.
“We have a good team but we are not off to the right start,” senior Frank Ralyea said. “Today’s loss got to us though, and I think in our next game there will be a new kind of effort from our boys to get a win.”
The boys have a preseason record of 1-2 and their next game will take place on Tuesday, Dec.11 away, against South Torrance High School.
