The Mira Costa girls varsity soccer team beat Harvard Westlake on Dec. 7 with a score of 2-1 in an away game.
Senior Kara Enomoto scored both goals for the win. It was the first time in 6 years that girls soccer has beaten Harvard Westlake.
“This was my first game back being able to play so it felt great to come back and score 2 goals,” Enomoto said. “It was also our first victory against Westlake in 6 years so overall it was a great match.”
The girls’ next game is a two day tournament held at South Torrance High School.
