The Mira Costa varsity girls soccer team tied 0-0 with South Torrance High on Thursday Dec. 13.
Senior Megan Mahoney, sophomore Megan Carver and junior Savannah Sartini played offense and had many crossovers. Juniors Sarah Chamberlain and Maddy Mikitea were able to stop many runs down the field and push the ball up to offense.
“Everyone played really well this game,” senior Kirby Benson said. “We had a lot of crossovers and attempts to score, they just didn’t make it in.”
The girls next game will be this weekend Dec. 15 and 16 at the South Torrance Holiday Tournament.
