The Mira Costa girls water polo team handily defeated West Torrance 23-3 in their game on Monday, Jan. 14.
Most of the players got a chance to score and everyone on the team was able to play. Junior Jordan Raney was the top scorer, making 8 of the 23 goals.
“It was nice for everyone to get into the game,” sophomore Erin Clifford said. “We played well and had fun.”
The Mustangs have an away game on Wednesday Jan. 16 at Peninsula High School.
