The Mira Costa girls basketball team continued their winning streak, defeating Palos Verdes High School 41-28 on Jan. 22, making their record 14-8 overall.
Juniors Camille Mills and Shaylyn Austin scored ten points each, helping Costa to victory. Sophomore Haley Tojo scored nine points for the Mustangs.
“I think in every practice and game we’ve had, we practice and play extremely hard,” Tojo said. “We get stronger as a team everyday.”
The girls played at home against West Torrance High School on Jan. 25.
