The Costa girls varsity soccer team beat West Torrance High School 1-0, on Friday, Jan. 25.
Costa’s only goal was scored in overtime, by senior Alyssa Lloja, securing Costa’s first place ranking in the Bay League.
“We lost to West our first game of the season so it was a great team effort to come back and win this match,” senior Kara Enomoto said. “I’m so proud of the way we played.”
The Mustangs’ next match will be home, on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 3 against Redondo Union High School.
