The Mira Costa’s girls varsity water polo team won their first CIF game on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at home. The Mustangs played Rancho Cucamunga, and won by a score of 16-3.
Out of the 16 goals scored, junior Jordan Raney scored 5 and senior Emily Milstead scored 4.
“We played well for our opening game,” Coach Reichart said. “We played hard all the way through the fourth quarter, and our defense was strong.
