The Mira Costa girls basketball team won their first CIF game 73-25 against San Gabriel High School on Feb. 16.
Junior guard Camille Mills scored six points in the CIF win.
“I’m really proud of how well the girls have been playing lately, I have seen them improve during each practice and they are able to transfer that onto the court in the games which is important to success,” coach Miranda BIteler said.
The girls played at home against Bonita High School on Wednesday.
