The Mira Costa baseball team lost a non-conference game on Friday, March 1 against Torrance High School. The Mustangs lost 8-4.
Senior pitcher Christian Reynolds shut down Torrance while pitching, only letting in one run.
“We could’ve played a lot better,” senior outfielder Kevin Lopez said. “We were the better team and did not show it. We will take this game as a learning experience.”
The boys next game was on Saturday against Pioneer High School.
