The Mira Costa boys tennis team defeated South Torrance, 17-1 in an away match on Thursday, Mar. 7. The Mustangs are currently 3-0 in the preseason.
In singles, freshman Alex Gaal had 3 wins, sophomore Evan Han had 2 and Rotheram had 2. In doubles, senior Michael Carella and freshman Alec Zirkelbach won both of their matches, 6-2.
“Everyone played really well,” sophomore Jason Wu said. “It is awesome we only lost one match.”
The Mustangs next match was against Chadwick Friday Mar. 8, in an away match.
