The Mira Costa boys lacrosse team beat Redondo Union High School, 14-12, on Monday, making the team’s record 4-3.
Seniors Michael Whinfrey and Alec Hoag led the team in scoring. Whinfrey had three goals, and Hoag scored two goals along with three assists.
The boys’ next game will be April 8 against Loyola High School.
“We were a lot more focused last night and came in with the right mindset to give us the win,” Hoag said. “Everyone was playing really well together.”
