The girls lacrosse team defeated El Segundo High School, 17-8, on Wednesday.
Senior attacker Taylor Pool led the team with five goals, and junior attack wing Taylor Duncan followed with four goals. The girls struggled in the beginning, allowing El Segundo to score early, but ended the first half on top, 8-4.
The girls host Beverly Hills on April 10 at home at 4:30 p.m.
“In the first couple minutes, we were struggling with scoring, so I took it upon myself to gain and kickstart our dominance for the rest of the game,” Pool said.
