The Mira Costa boys volleyball team played Peninsula High School on Tues. April 17, and won in three games.
The boys came out strong and quickly took the first game with a score of 25-10. Peninsula surged back in the second match, but Costa held them off and won with a final score of 25-19. Costa took the third game with a final score of 25-15, and junior Matt Jones scored the winning point with an ace serve.
“We played well as a team today,” senior Casey White said. “It’s always fun to get some of the younger kids playing time to see how much they have learned.”
