The Mira Costa boys volleyball team defeated West High School on Tuesday and won in three matches.
In the first game, the Costa boys easily took the win with a score of 25-11. The Mustangs also won the second game with a score of 25-16. With the second string subbed in for the third game, Costa evenly battled with West through many game points until Costa eventually took the third and final game with a score of 35-33.
“It was a whole team effort today,” senior Casey White said. “It’s nice when we get the younger kids a chance to play and show off all of their hard work.”
The boys next game will take place away on Thursday against Redondo Union High School.
