The Mira Costa boys varsity tennis team defeated West Torrance High School 16-2, away on Tuesday. The Mustangs are now 17-2 overall and 6-1 in Bay League.
In singles, freshmen Alex Gaal and Jeremy Chung won all three of their matches. In doubles, the team of seniors Michael Carella and Connor Mathews won all three of their matches.
“We are happy with our performance and heading towards finals strong,” sophomore Jason Wu said.
The Mustangs’ next match is on Thursday against Redondo Union High School.
