The Mira Costa girls varsity tennis team won its match 14-4, against Beverly Hills High School on Wednesday at home.
Freshmen twins, Isabella and Katarina Draskovic, won their matches 6-1 and 6-0. Junior Brooke Swallow won her match 6-4. In doubles, seniors Claudia Fellows and Sidney Ascher, won their first match 6-1.
“Beverly Hills has been a challenge in comparison to previous teams, but we are well prepared and have worked very hard,” Fellows said. “The key to our success so far has been communication in doubles, staying positive and practice.”
The next game is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 3:00 against Santa Monica High School at home.
