The Mira Costa varsity girls golf team played in a Bay League match against Chadwick High School on Tuesday, with a win of 178-281 at Chester Washington golf course.
Costa broke the school record with a stroke count of 178 on a course with a par of 36. Senior Megan Kim shot a 32, sophomore Andrea Lee shot a 33 and freshman Ashley Kim shot a 36, which was the final score that led the team to victory.
“We are extremely happy because we made school history with the best stroke count ever at Mira Costa,” Megan Kim said.
The girls will play Chadwick again tomorrow at Rolling Hills Country Club.
