The girls tennis team beat West Torrance, 12-6, on Tuesday in an away match.
Singles players freshmen twins Isabella and Katarina Draskovic played singles and both won all of their matches. The doubles team of juniors Brooke Swallow and Taylor Klein also won both of their matches. Junior Hannah Watkins subbed in to play varsity singles and won her match 6-0.
“Today’s match was an opportunity to play girls in different positions so you will see that Isabella and Katarina played singles and Brooke and Taylor played doubles,” coach Joe Ciasulli said. “Also, junior varsity players Ellen and Hannah Watkins got their first varsity action.”
The girls will play again on Thursday, Oct. 24, against Peninsula High School. The location is yet to be determined.
