Boys golf competed in the California Interscholastic Federation Team round, their last event of the season, beginning on May 14. Even with a strong start in the first round, the Mustangs were unable to advance after the second round, ending the season in fourth place.
The first round began on May 14 where they competed against Calabasas High School. Beating Calabasas, the team was able to move onto the second round on May 16 where they faced off against Northwood high school. Costa then lost with a total score of 382, ending their CIF run.
“Although our post season run was cut short, we felt like we gave it our all,” sophomore, Nick Harry said.
