The Mira Costa Car Club held a classic car show on May 31 at Mira Costa’s student parking lot.
The show included a variety of cars, all which were curtesy of South Bay citizens. Viewers admired the display of cars the show had to offer.
“This show was very fun to attend because of all the cars that were there and because they sold delicious food,” car enthusiast Eric Soibelman said.
The Mira Costa Car Club hosted the show to attract new members and raise money for their new club. The show raised a total of $1,723 in donations.
“We plan to make this car show an annual event,” Car Club co-president Bryce Lyter said. “With the donations we received we will hopefully one day buy an old car of our own so we can remodel it.”
The show included cars such as 1990’s Mustangs and modern Lamborghini’s. Approximately two hundred people came to the event to enjoy the variety of cars.
“I wanted to host an annual car show because I find people in Manhattan Beach love cars,” Club starter man Connor Whol said.
