The Mira Costa College and Career Center will hold the annual College Knowledge Night on Sep 22 in the auditorium to educate students on the college application and preparation process.

They will be informing students about a multitude of aspects of the college process including signing up for college visits, application timelines, testing information, and letters of recommendation.
“There are so many great colleges to apply to and one great way to start the process is through attending these events that are free and offered right here on campus,” Ramirez said.
Additionally, five to six guest speakers from various colleges across the country will be presenting information about their respective colleges. The college representatives will be sharing admissions strategies with the attendees.
“Each presenter will talk about their institutions and what it takes o gtet into those types of schools,” Ramirez said.
The event will start in the auditorium. Based on each’s attendees questions and interests, students can choose to participate in two out of five workshops, which will take place in different locations around campus.
“Seniors are strongly encouraged to come. We would ideally like the see students of all grade levels because it’s never too early to start preparing for college,” said Ramirez.
