Following their win against Redondo Union High School, Mira Costa boys water polo faced off against La Canada High School at the Pasadena City College. The Mustangs were able to take total control of the game early on which resulted in a strong win for Costa.
Although La Canada played hard they were no match for Costa’s strong offense and defense.the score of the game was 19-5 and Costa had the upper-hand the entire game. During the game, Jake Miller-Tolt was able to score 5 of Mira Costa’s goals and Ed Jeon scored 4. Andrew Toddand Derrick Compas were each able to score 2 goals.
“I feel like the team is really starting to come together.” Jake Miller-Tolt Said. “Today was a really great example of that and I think we still have a lot of great playing to come.”
Costa’s next game will be held on October 13, against Los Alamitos High School at Mira Costa.
