Borderlands: The Pre Sequel has been able to change a major piece of the two original Borderlands, leave the original map and take the game to the moon.
Borderlands is successfully able to implement new and unique improvements such as an enhanced lower gravity system in which game physics are changed to feature a new less powerful gravitational pull in the game. New and entirely unique characters with distinctive features and perks that allow a more diverse gaming experience, and an arsenal of weapons that extends over 17.75 million allowing a ridiculously large choice on what guns the player wants to use.
In Borderlands: The Pre Sequel the game takes place in a time period between Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2. However, instead of playing on the earth-like planet of Pandora used in the two original Borderlands, the new group of characters move to Elpis one of Pandora’s moons. These characters join forces to eliminate a group of elite mercenaries hired by a large gun company who claim to be on a mission to “Save the universe”. This group has one way to carry out their mission, destroy Elpis.
Borderlands: The Pre Sequel features an entirely new batch of characters whose abilities range from being able to summon two flying drones, to the ability to activate “Vault Hunter.EXE” which grants a power at complete random. All of these abilities are designated to only certain characters and help to shape play styles that give the option to the player to choose how they want to play the game. This option allows players to design their character uniquely and practically play the game on a character exclusive to them.
Borderlands: The Pre Sequel is hugely focused on the how playing on the barren moon actually lowers gravity in game. Low gravity is a new complement to the game and helps the gameplay develop away from its predecessors. Throughout the game low gravity grants a huge advantage whether it’s keeping off of an acid covered floor or simply wanting to get above enemies by getting above most enemies players gain a clear shot on their critical points which are normally located on the head allowing the character to deal massive amounts of damage. Gravity contributes to a large portion of the combat throughout the game and grants the player a new option when attempting to evade or execute the enemies, making Borderlands: The Pre Sequel revolutionary in its franchise.
Borderlands has been known for one thing, its arsenal of weapons that has extended over 17.75 million. Creators added two new features laser guns and cryo weapons, which distinguish the fighting aspect of the game as a completely new and original component to Borderlands. This makes the game far more advanced by diversifying the player’s selection of firepower and allows the player maximize their damage output on their enemies.
Borderlands: The Pre Sequel is an incredibly diverse game that integrates innovative character development as well as state of the art gameplay. This game is definitely worth its current price and properly expands on the story of the Borderlands series. Overall Borderlands: The Pre Sequel is a fantastic game.
Borderlands: The Pre Sequel is rated M and available in retail for $59.99.
