The Mustangs took on a Bay League rival that wasn’t the Redondo Union Seahawks: the Palos Verdes Seakings. Despite a tight game, the fourth quarter proved to be the turning point for the Mustangs, as the boys shot their way to a 67-61 victory.
“We stick together, we pump each other up,” said junior Quenton Jackson. “We just have to keep it up, keep up our defense, and stick together.”
The Bay League win kept Mira Costa in the running for a potential spot atop the standings – a spot currently held by Redondo Union.
