On Saturday, March 14 the Mira Costa baseball team faced off against Carson High school.
The boys were able to take early control of the game and won by a score of 13-1. Trevor Franklin was pitching for the Mustangs and out of 52 pitches he threw 37 strikes.
“I think both our defense and offense were really working well together today,” Franklin said. “So far our struggle has been defense but I think this game showed that we are improving everyday.”
The boys will take on Culver City High school this Wednesday at home.
