The Mira Costa Mustangs boys volleyball team won a neutral, non-conference, match against Hawaii Baptist with a final score of 3-2.
The Mustangs dominated the first two matches of game winning 25-22 and 25-8. In the following matches the boys faltered and lost the following two games. In the final match, Costa won with a score of 15-9.
“We really came out ready to play,” Coach Sean Shoptaw said. “We need to make sure to stay focus or teams like Hawaii Baptist can easily turn things around.”
