The Mira Costa Boys Tennis team traveled to Palos Verdes to take on the Peninsula Tennis team on Thursday, March 26. The Mustangs came out with a 11-7 victory in the Bay League Game.
Singles Players Alex Gaal and Jeremy Chung, both juniors, helped the Mustangs win by not losing a single game and contributing six points for Costa. In the doubles division, junior twins Blake and Tanner Suard dominated their opponents winning all three games with scores of 6-3, 6-1, and a 6-0 shutout.
“I was glad that I could help us win,” Gaal said “But everyone played very well, and it’s nice to get a win against a good bay league team.”
The Mustang’s next game will not be played until April 15 when the Mustangs face Chadwick at Mira Costa at 3.
