The Mira Costa Boys volleyball team won Tuesday’s home conference match against the Morningside Monarchs with a final score of 3-0.
In the third Bay League match of the season, the Mustangs dominated the Monarchs in every aspect of the game. They won the first game 25-4, 25-3 the second, and 25-6 in the final game. Costa won all three of the matches with at least a nineteen point lead. Middle blocker Tyler Morgan performed well with 7 kills and junior Sam Jones had 8 digs.
“We really came out to play,” Jones said. “We need to continue to play like this and prepare for California Interscholastic Federation.”
The Mustangs’s next game will be away at Redondo Beach Union High School at 7 p.m. on April 16.
