The Mira Costa Boys defeated Chadwick High School at Mira Costa on Wednesday. The Mustangs won with a final score of 10-2 because the team’s starter lost both of their games.
Junior Alex Gaal was the top singles performer, as he was the only Costa player that was able to defeat Chadwick’s #1, by a score of 6-4. Junior twins Blake and Tanner Suard also won both of their games with scores of 6-4 and 6-0.
“I think this game was really important because it gave us a lot of valuable practice before our game tomorrow,” Tanner Suard said. “Redondo is going to be a very tough league game so it’s good that we got to play together today.”
The Mustang’s next game will be on Thursday, April 16 as they take on Redondo Union High School in an important Bay League match. The game will be at Redondo at 3:00.
