Costa’s Associated Student Body held elections today during homeroom where students in grades 9-11 voted for next year’s ASB.
Students began campaigning for the elections on Monday. Only students running for the ASB or class officer positions of president, vice president, secretary or treasurer were allowed to campaign.
The election results will be posted at 3 p.m. today outside room 40.
“Running is nerve wracking, but it is also really fun because I get to show how passionate I am about Costa,” junior Molly Dvorkin said.
The candidates for Student Body president are juniors Hanna Watkins, Tyler Knudson and Brett Davis. Candidates for vice president are Cole Keefer and Kevin Vartan. Dvorkin and junior Diego Madrigal are running for Student Body secretary, and Duke Mahr is running for treasurer unopposed.
“I am looking forward to seeing what they can accomplish,” ASB President Reilly Edmonds said.
