The girls tennis team was forced to alter its schedule, changing Thursday’s match from home to away at Palos Verdes. The location didn’t bother the Mustangs on September 30, as they came away with their seventh win of the season, improving their overall record to 7-2 and 1-0 in the Bay League.
Sophomore Maegan Manasse led the Mustangs on Thursday to their 10-8 win over Palos Verdes. Manasse won all three of her matches by scores of 6-0, 6-0, and 6-2. Seniors Sara Derian and Alex Vand won both of their matches, 6-2, thus playing a large role in the Mustangs’ first Bay League win.
The girls will get the weekend off and then play Bishop Montgomery at home on Monday, October 4, at 3 p.m.
