The girls tennis team hit the road on Sept. 29, losing its second match of the season to Newport Harbor High School. With the loss, the Mustangs fell to 6-2 on the season.

Senior Taylor Mahr and sophomore Maegan Manasse continued their dominance in the Mustangs’ 11-7 loss. Mahr and Manasse won six of the seven matches combined, battling every set. The sophomore sensation still has yet to lose a single match in the eight matches her team has played so far this season.

The Mustangs look to bounce back from their second loss at home on Sept. 30 against Palos Verdes at 3 p.m. The girls will play their third match in as many days hoping to get back on the winning path.
