“Ride or Die” seemed almost too real to be the motto of the newest and last of the incredible Fast and Furious series, “Furious 7.”

“Furious 7” uses realistic action scenes and emotional ties to previous movies and characters with an incredibly unexpected ending to make the best film of all the “Fast and Furious” films.

“Furious 7” focuses on Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) gang of street racers helping the U.S. Military in stopping international terrorist Deckard Shaw. Toretto and his gang members travel to Abu Dhabi, Canada, and all over the states before they finally reach their biggest threat in their hometown of Los Angeles.

Toretto is the leader of the gang members alongside Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), and Tej (Ludacris). The gang works with the U.S. Military headed by Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson).

With a cast full of stars, the “Fast and Furious” films have always been a marvel in the entertainment industry. “Furious 7” maintains that reputation and will forever be known as the most famous of them all.

Ex-special forces, Brian O’Conner (Walker) has been like a brother to Toretto since he left the police force. O’Conner joined Toretto’s group and is his right hand man. Paul Walker unfortunately passed away midway through the filming and creation of “Furious 7” in a car accident.

The continuation of his role was in question as viewers wondered how the directors would make the movie work. The computer generated images and use of his brothers paid off by maintaining the emotional ties that Walker’s character has had throughout the films.

The new film is filled with insane car stunts, exploding helicopters, and exciting action scenes that still seemed realistic and added the “Fast and Furious” signature to the film. These insane but still realistic stunts make the film unique as compared to other street racing films.

This film has an original plot but still keeps the extensive story going that is Fast and Furious. The central focus of family, loyalty, and perseverance is clear throughout the entire film and brings a feeling of nostalgia as the realization that the end of this incredible story line is finally coming to an end.

With a tribute to Paul Walker, and an emotional and unexpected ending, “Furious 7” ends the “Fast and Furious” franchise with all its ends tied together and reassures why these films deserve the fame the have earned.

“Furious 7” is rated PG-13 and is playing in theaters nationwide.
