The Mira Costa Varsity Cross Country teams traveled to Stanford University in Palo Alto to race the Stanford Invitational Cross Country meet on Sept. 25.
Junior Adam Perez, who finished with a 16:37 time and placed 26th overall, led the male Mustangs to their seventh place finish.
The girls finished third in the seeded race division. They were led by senior Savannah Pio, who finished 11th overall with a time of 18:17.
The Mustangs will compete in the South Bay Cup at Columbia Park on Sept. 29.
