Originally started by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young the band had a mix of members going in and out of their group. After Lead singer Bon Scott died, Brian Johnson their current singer replaced him in the studio and on tour. Bassist Cliff Williams, drummer Chris Slade, and rhythm guitarist Stevie Young have been with the band in recent years.
The concert started out strong with the song “Rock or Bust” from their newest album. ACDC started off this stunning performance with all band members putting full effort and accompanying pyrotechnics to give the show its’ own twist compared to their studio albums. ACDC quickly began the concert strong, with its’ well-known Rock and Roll riffs.
As the concert progressed, the band quickly moved on to their older hits such as “Shoot to Thrill” which made a quick entrance. Each song they played live was unparalleled in quality to their studio versions as each song had a new passion that was previously missing bringing a new experience to many of the fans there.
Even though Brian Johnson is the lead singer, the concert’s main attraction was Angus Young. Young had an impeccable performance playing the band’s older hits with an intense fury on the stage.
ACDC kept the audience engaged by encouraging them to sing along with their hit songs better than ever before. From everywhere in the audience the band’s music rocked the crowd and the stadium itself with their deep, signature guitar riffs.
While onstage, the band used many props including a giant bell to accompany their hit song “Hells Bells”. To finish their concert off they had cannons blasting off, accompanying their song “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)” a perfect way to end the concert with a perfect blend of their classic hard rock music and their incredible showmanship they have become so famous for.
As the concert wound down, Young finished with the performance of a lifetime with his perfect rendition of “Let there be Rock”, finishing the song with a long guitar solo. After a short break, they came back for an incredible encore, playing their biggest hits “Highway to Hell” and “For those About to Rock” to end the night strong.
