G-Eazy’s new album showcases his talent

G-Eazy’s new album “When It’s Dark Out” is full of hits and proves that he is one of the most talented rappers in the industry.

     This album, released on December 4th, has several hit songs with several features from several well-known artists. G-Eazy raps with clever lyrics and catchy beats which makes “When it’s Dark Out” a very exciting album to listen to.

     “When it’s Dark Out” is G-Eazy’s second studio album following his hit album “These Things Happen”. His new album contains 15 tracks with an ‘Intro’ song to start the album. The number and quality of these tracks are crucial to G-Eazy’s career because it shows whether he is a one hit wonder or well-rounded rapper.

        The album begins with an interesting intro track that sets the rhythm for rest of the songs. It contains very little lyrics but they say “Rage, rage against the dying of light” which refers to the title of album. The intro is a great feature to the album and it really sets the mood for the rest of the album.

       The lyrics in many of the tracks have real meaning behind them instead of nonsense that many rappers talk about in their songs. He talks about growing up and who inspired him to make music. He also talks about his rise up in his rapping career which helps the listener connect to his music and create a better listening experience.

       Most albums only contain a few hit songs with the rest acting as poorly produced fillers, which causes the album to be difficult to listen completely without wanting to skip songs. This album, however, contains several hit songs and barely any filler songs that aren’t as popular. Each song has good lyrics with a catchy beat so you can listen to it without getting bored of any of the songs.

       One of the best parts of the album is the diversity of featured artists in many of the songs. Many of the features are big name artists such as Chris Brown, Big Sean, and E-40, but there are also a lot of smaller artists featured in the songs. These relatively unknown artists, such as Gizzle and Starrah, create great depth in the album and introduce the listener to new singers and rappers.

       Overall, this album is a great addition to G-Eazy’s growing career because it proves he can be a great rapper with meaningful lyrics. His choice to feature well known artists in many of his tracks which draws a bigger audience to his music and only adds to his growing popularity.
