The Mira Costa Drama Department has been preparing for their spring musical, “Addams Family,” which will open on April 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Costa auditorium.
“Addams Family” is not a normal family, but when teenage Wednesday falls in love with Lucas Beinike bonds are made and relationships are put to test, and both families learn to open up to each other. Senior Calyssa Frankel and Sophomore Noah Geller are playing the main leads, Wednesday and Lucas, respectively. According to Geller Addams Family was chosen because it was contemporary and well known, and it suited the students talent.
“I feel incredibly lucky to have this opportunity, and I am focusing on expanding and refining my entire skillset, including singing, dancing and acting and I also want to give a great and memorable performance,” Geller said.
